Fernweh is a German word that can be translated as “farsickness” or more poetically “an ache for the distance.” Like homesickness only in reverse. A desire to go. A desire to travel.
I’d love to see what kind of story I could tell like this, too. I think I have a bit more playing around with shorter things to do first, though. You know… see what I can do. Figure out where I can go.
